Soller

Soller is the gateway to the Tramuntana mountains with, in common with all traditional Mallorquin towns, its port on the coast - Port Soller. Porto Soller is delightful and has beach opposite the harbour. Santiago Rusinol named this "The Port of Calm" and the modern day place has not lost its charm.

It's the destination of the narrow guage railway from Palma

and is surrounded by mountains, fields of sheep, and local craft potteries and metalworking.
