There are many beautiful beaches and coves to discover around Mallorca and the area is a golfers paradise due to the mild weather of the island. The centre of Santa Ponsa is a short walk, with its golden sandy beach, variety of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. A walkway (paseo) has been built all around the bay for strolling in the cool of the evening.Puerto Portals, with its chic marina used by the Spanish royals, is a 10 minutes drive and is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Santa Ponsa also has a Marina with a cross to commemorate the removal of the Moors by King Jaime 1 in 1291. Another small sandy beach can be found close by, which is frequently by the locals.
