Traditional Spanish bungalow style villa with a detached annex, fully renovated, set in large gardens surrounded by walls and hedges. Approach via long drive bordering the orchard. The pool (with underwater lighting). Large patio area and BBQ. Ample outside lighting for that evening meal and swim.Full length veranda and mature grapevine provide shade to one side. Steps to roof terrace.

Our villa is available 2008: Available from March 15th to July 12th.August 16th to September 13th.September 27th to October 31st. If your dates don't match, please scroll down to the end of this file to rent villas and apartments in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands.

Nearest towns are Algaida 3km and Llucmajor 12 km. Many good restaurants locally. Playa de Palma and Estanyol beaches are approx 20 mins mins by car. Es Trenc beach is approx 30 mins.

It's a central location:

West : Drive o Andrax
North West: through the mountain range to Lluc, Pollenca or Alcudia.
East: Manacor, - for pearls and Tiles, many large markets, and leather goods - and onwards to the Cave of Drach, Santanyi and other beautiful bays
20 mins drive from Palma, and the railway to Soller

Approx 20 mins from at least 4 golf courses:

Near Llucmajor - @ the Marriots Hotel Cost + Ł35 approx Hire of clubs = cost Ł10 approx.
Hilly course - Bendinat - situated between Palma and Palma Nova
Quite flat = Son Vida - 2 beautiful courses ( 1 open to members only) Take the Algaida - Palma road, pass through San Rapida and it is the next location

Hypermarket = 20 mins away - Carrefour near Palma Nearest local town = Algaida has several small and medium sized supermarkets, and a "general " oldy worldy store that seems to sell everything ! Llucmajor= larger town ( was at one time the capital town), larger markets, and supermarkets, good market

Both Algaida our nearest town and Llucmajor have markets. Algaida is a mere 10 mins from the house and has its own winery and the Town Hall.

Many fine restaurants both north and south off the main Manajor road 9 one with a large swimming pool.

Want to go more native? . . . A " carvery " type restaurant is about 15 mins from the house. Excellent Spanish buffet /carvery and typical dinner and dancing available on Friday and Saturday nights

Walking - all around the area where the house is located

Beaches - within 20 -30 mins drive.

MAIN ACCOMMODATION: Two bedrooms - sleeps 4.

One bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe, large en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment), WC, vanity unit. One bedroom with 2 single beds, matching dressing table and double wardrobe. Living room fully furnished with feature fireplace.
Kitchen

Kitchen fully equipped with gas cooker (bottled gas), microwave, large fridge freezer. Shower room, toilet and hand basin. Note: Not suitable for babies and children under 12.

ANNEX ACCOMMODATION: One bedroom - sleeps 2.

Available for extra persons when booking the main accommodation (not let separately). Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (with shower over bath and toilet), bedroom with double bed, small living room opening onto a large veranda.

Note: The annex is occupied by the owner at various times of the year for maintenance of the property and gardens. If the owner is on site he will provide help and assistance when required. Your privacy will be totally respected.

AMENITIES:

A starter pack is provided. Washing machine, hairdryer, iron and board. Mains water supply, electricity and telephone. Bottled gas. Towels and linen are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

PRICES:

£250 - £550 depending on the week involved, number of people and length of stay. An additional annex can also be available at £200 per week (not let seperately)
