GUIDED WALKING HOLIDAYS IN MALLORCA

Mallorca is an island of wonderful geographic contrast. The glorious beaches are well known and some holiday makers may venture into its rural interior, or even make the tortuous drive along the rugged peninsular to the North East of Majorca that ends at a desolate but beautiful Cap de Formentor, with its lighthouse, but there is much more waiting to be discovered.

Your guide on this walking holiday

Your guide is fully trained and has led walking holidays in Mallorca for 10 years. Resident in Mallorca, he holds a current British Hill Walking certificate and is first aid accredited.

Walking at an unhurried pace, the emphasis is on safety, care, comfort and the enjoyment of all members of the group in an informative and informal atmosphere. Over the course of 5 days easy walking, you will walk to the top of 5 mountain peaks: Massanella, L' Ofre, Cornadors, Galatzo, Es Clop.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided in Banyalbufar, a beautiful, unspoilt, coastal village set between the mountains and the sea. This is no walking hostel! The small Son Borguny hotel has beautiful themed rooms, including 'sun', 'moon' and 'wind', 'vineyard' and 'sea'.

A magnificent breakfast at the small hotel of Son Borguny, formerly a 15th century town house, will fortify you for the day ahead, with a picnic lunch being a mid-day treat. Later, when you return to the hotel in the evening you will enjoy a wonderful and very well earned dinner.
