Set among the fields and peaceful countryside of rural inland Mallorca, the farm of C'an Domingo is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday away from it all. There are no neighbours and its terraces have unobstructed views. A special sunset terrace looks out towards the Tramontana mountain range.
The villa is surrounded by untouched countryside and beautiful rural walks abound, as do numerous country and village restaurants. A new swimming pool of 10 meter by 5 meter in now ready for use. Most beaches can be reached within 30 minutes from its central position on this Balearic island.

There are no main roads near the property, which is approached up a small lane in untouched countryside. The area is pure rural Mallorca, with rolling fields scattered with farms and woods.
This peaceful holiday villa offers a choice of terraces on which to relax, wine and dine. Shaded areas are provided and the numerous terracotta pots and plants lend a relaxed air to these patios.
The farm house has a barbecue and a Tandoori oven, and meals can be enjoyed outdoors or in the traditional dining area.
The Farm villa
The 155 sq meters of living space is tiled throughout and is located on a 2500 sq meter plot. The furnishings are of excellent quality and in the traditional Majorcan style. The lounge area is centred on a wood burning stove and opens onto a terrace. A TV, CD and radio are provided.
The beautiful traditional kitchen and dining area features a high wood beamed ceiling and its open plan arrangement makes it perfect for hosting family holidays. Sensitive restoration of this farm house has revealed old stone interior walls that contrast with the smooth white walls and decorative ceramics.
The kitchen is well equipped, and includes a cooker and hob, washing machine and extractor fan. The serving area and uncluttered spacious arrangement makes for very relaxed living.
The owners live about 1 km away, and while all the necessary items for a relaxing holiday are provided, they are normally able to arrange any special extras on request, or offer recommendations and local knowledge.

Sleeping accommodation includes 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, sleeping a total of 6. These are served by 2 bathrooms. One has a bath and both are equipped with a shower.
The Area
The old farm of C'an Domingo is set in untouched countryside a short stroll from the picturesque village of Lloret de Vista Alegre. Nearby Sineu is a short 5 minutes drive.
This holiday house is an ideal base for those who enjoy rural activities such as walking and cycling, and the villa is very suited to both the active or the less mobile. The surrounding area is famous for its excellent local cuisine, and one of the holiday pleasures will undoubtedly be the 'discovery' a country restaurant, whether this be accomplished on foot, by bike... or by car.
For those who wish to explore more of the island, the central location brings most attractions within very easy reach, for example, most beaches are within a 30 minutes drive. The journey from Sineu to Palma is particularly enjoyable and noteworthy for being the only road from the interior that does not pass through any towns or villages, which is a legacy of this inland area's past connection with royalty.

C'an Domingo is approximately 40km from Palma airport.

Luxury villa overlooking Puerto Andratx: This air conditioned villa is very private and has spacious living areas for family holidays. Covered terraces, out-door dining and a pool terrace make this a luxury rental. The twin garage has a lift for taking shopping down to the kitchen, although the temptation of the waterfront restaurants in Puerto Andratx means that aperatives and breakfast are the only meals likely to be taken on the terrace dining area. 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8. 2008: Good availability.
Inland near Algaida: - Renovated 2 bedroom villa with optional 1 bedroom annex, gardens and pool in peaceful rural setting, just 20 minutes from Palma or nearest beach. Sleeps 4, or 6 if the annex is also rented (not available separately). 2008: Available from March 15th to July 12th.August 16th to September 13th.September 27th to October 31st.
